It has become increasingly apparent to me that the United States is heading toward a second civil war regardless of the outcome of the 2024 election. The reason for this is simple: the two dominant political parties each offer a version of America that, to the other side, is a dystopian hellscape. Regardless of whether Biden or Trump prevails in the 2024 election (I put Trumps odds at less than 2%), you will want to prepare now for what is almost certainly coming in the aftermath. As a civilian, the first thing you will want is a solid handgun as that will be your primary means of self defense. However, simply having a handgun will not be nearly enough. You will need to train to become proficient with it and you will also need to make sure you have what you need to run it effectively.
